Brake Light Clinic & Health Fair-
Your favorite DSA comrades will be at AP Tureaud Memorial Park on Saturday, October 4, changing brake lights, handing out hot meals and cold drinks, doing basic health checks, connecting people to community health resources, and chatting about building a better society together. We’re also welcoming our friends from Trystereo to provide Narcan kits and educate us on how to use them. It’s always a good time with good people, so come hang out and do some community organizing!
The address is 1800 AP Tureaud Av, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Grab your hat, get your sunscreen, and bring a friend (or make one at the clinic)!

Rise Up for Gaza: Two Years of Genocide-
🚨NEW ORLEANS - TWO YEARS OF GENOCIDE: RISE UP FOR GAZA.
On October 4th, we will take the streets and shut it down. From wherever we are, we will make it clear: the people of the world stand with Gaza, and demand a total arms embargo and sanctions against Israel.
As we mark two years of genocide, we recall our responsibility to the people of Gaza, who have resisted an all-out war on their lives for over 700 days. In confronting those who continue to make this genocide possible, we affirm that the United States, Canada, Europe, and Arab states bear full complicity in Zionism’s crimes. The time is now to link arms, reenergize ourselves and our people, and stop the world for Gaza. Join us on October 4th for an international day of action.
We will not rest until the genocide is brought to an end, until those who bear responsibility are made to answer for their crimes before an international tribunal, and until Palestine is free.
